Message Center and Alert Archives sections on the PayPal Manager Home page enable you to track important communication from PayPal regarding your Payflow account.
Message Center contains marketing communication from PayPal. You can view the messages by clicking on the Message Center tab. Here, you will receive messages such as:
Introductory email welcoming you to Payflow services.
New features or products that you can use to enhance your Payflow account functionality.
If you choose to, you can delete these messages after viewing.
Alert Archives store alert notifications issued by PayPal regarding your Payflow account. These alerts contain important notifications that require you to act upon, such as:
Membership renewal
Credit card updates
support communication
When PayPal first issues these alerts, they appear in an Alerts section above the Business Activity Center. This section will not appear if you do not have any alerts.
In the Alerts section:
Click on an alert message to view the details.
A maximum of three alerts are displayed. If you have more alerts, a "more" link appears on the right side below the third message. Click on that link to view the unread messages.
If you would like to store an alert that you would like to act upon later, select the corresponding box and click Archive. The alert is moved into the Alert Archives section. You can access these messages by clicking on the Alert Archives tab.
You cannot delete these alerts, they are deleted automatically after six months.
