When you register for a Payflow account, you receive a Welcome email that contains important account information that is useful while logging in to PayPal Manager.
PayPal Manager is supported on Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 5.5 or later.
Access the PayPal Manager Login page at:
https://manager.paypal.com
(The page is SSL-secured, so be sure to type https instead of the more common http.)
Enter the following information (the fields are case-sensitive):
Partner name that was provided to you in your welcome email.
Merchant Login, also known as login ID, you created during registration.
User name, if used. PayPal Manager allows an administrator to assign a user name to each individual who has access to PayPal Manager. If no users have been created, leave the field blank. Also, if you are logging in as an administrator for the first time, this field will be blank.
Password that you created during registration, or that was created by the administrator on the account. (Scroll down on this page if you have forgotten your password).
Click Login. The Home page appears.
To enhance security, you are automatically logged out of PayPal Manager after any extended period of inactivity.
If you receive a message stating that your account is disabled, you will not be able to log in to Manager. You will need to have your account enabled to continue. Refer to the PayPal Help Center at https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/helpweb?cmd=_help for instructions on how to have your account enabled.
If you are a "user" on the account, then contact an administrator on the account to reset your password.
If you are an administrator on an account that has multiple administrators, contact another administrator to reset your password.
If you are the sole administrator on an account, then you have to contact Customer Support to reset your password. To do so, follow the instructions below:
Collect the following information for authentication:
Processor account information (contact the merchant bank, if needed)
Accepted credit card types
Company address
Company phone number
Email address of primary and secondary contact
Challenge phrase (for all accounts created since April 1, 2004)
Call PayPal Support Center and give your login ID to the technical support representative.
After the primary and secondary contact has been authenticated, PayPal will email a password change form to the contact's email address on file.
Follow the instructions on the form you receive, and send the form back to PayPal.
After PayPal receives and processes the request, a notification will be sent to the email address on file.
