If your computer is part of a Local Area Network (LAN), ask your Systems Administrator for your IP address.
If your computer is not on a LAN, follow this procedure:
From the Main Group Window, double-click the MS-DOS Prompt.
At the MS-DOS prompt, type ipconfig and press Enter.
On the Start menu, select Programs and click Command Prompt.
At the command prompt, type ipconfig and press Enter.
On the Start menu, select Run.... In the Run box, type cmd and click OK.
At the command prompt, type ipconfig and press Enter.
