The IP Address Velocity Ignore List is optionally used in conjunction with the IP Address Velocity Filter. If you know that particular IP addresses are reliable and responsible for a large volume of orders, you can add those IP addresses to the Ignore List. Filters do not screen IP addresses in this list.
IP addresses do not always identify a unique computer or user. For example, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) may use a limited number of IP addresses for all of its users:
Multiple customers behind an ISP may commonly trigger the IP Address Velocity filter. Use the IP Address Velocity Ignore List to reduce the number of transactions unnecessarily held for review.
